Helping Successful People Get Even Better--Peer Coaching to Develop Personally and Professionally
While most of us can easily see the need to change the behavior of others, we often have great difficulty in changing ourselves. As we become more successful, it seems even harder to change. This is the “paradox of success” where we feel no need to change when things are going well.
Successful people have four key beliefs that can get in the way of their growth and development. This seminar will focus on these beliefs and introduce the practice of “feedforward,” which offers participants suggestions for future success.
Feedforward is a technique developed by the coaching specialist, Dr. Marshall Goldsmith. Rather than gather information about past behavior, participants receive suggestions and input in a non-threatening environment about future behavior. Each participant identifies one behavior they wish to change and receive input on how to do so.
This seminar is highly interactive and fun. Humor is used to create an environment that builds trust and teamwork.

- The four key beliefs that block successful people from improving
- To recognize one behavior that they wish to improve
- How to utilize the “feedforward” technique to get suggestions for positive change
- The value of “letting go” of the past to focus on the future
- How to develop a follow-up process that provides ongoing feedforward input from others
